Gorakhpur's Got Latent
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Ticket & Refund Policy explains the rules applicable to tickets purchased for Gorakhpur's Got Latent ("GGL") events through our website or an authorized ticketing/payment process. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable ticket, event, payment, entry, cancellation, and refund conditions described below.
Please read this policy carefully before completing payment. If you have any question about a ticket or payment, contact our support team before purchasing whenever possible.
Unless a specific event page or written announcement states otherwise, GGL event tickets are treated as confirmed bookings once payment has been successfully received and the ticket/order has been issued.
Tickets are generally non-refundable and cannot be cancelled merely because the purchaser changes their mind, cannot attend, arrives late, has a change of plans, or purchases the wrong quantity or category.
A refund may be considered only in circumstances expressly covered by this policy or announced by GGL for the relevant event. These may include:
A refund is not automatically guaranteed simply because a customer requests one. Eligibility depends on the circumstances of the transaction and the announcement or terms applicable to the event.
Unless otherwise announced by GGL, refunds are generally not available for the following:
If the same ticket purchase is accidentally charged more than once, please contact support with the relevant transaction details. We may verify the payment records with the payment gateway before processing any refund.
Once a duplicate transaction is confirmed, the excess eligible amount will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution. As a general guide, a confirmed duplicate payment may take approximately 5–7 business days to reflect after reconciliation, although the actual timing may vary.
If money has been debited from your bank account, card, UPI, or other payment method but you did not receive a ticket or confirmation, do not immediately make another payment. First contact our support team with the payment reference, amount, date, and contact details used during checkout.
We may check the transaction status with the payment provider and our order records. If the payment is confirmed as successful and an order exists, we may assist with ticket retrieval. If the payment is confirmed as failed or reversed, the payment provider may automatically return the amount according to its processing timeline.
A payment shown as failed, pending, reversed, or cancelled by the payment provider does not by itself constitute a valid event ticket. A valid ticket requires successful order confirmation through the applicable ticketing process.
If a pending payment later succeeds, the corresponding order may be created or confirmed subject to ticket availability. If the payment is reversed or automatically refunded by the payment provider, the amount may return according to the provider's normal settlement timeline.
If GGL officially cancels an event and announces that ticket holders are eligible for refunds, the organizers will communicate the applicable refund procedure, eligibility conditions, deadline, and processing method.
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed to the original payment method used for the eligible transaction, subject to payment-provider capabilities and applicable processing rules.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled rather than cancelled, the organizers may announce whether existing tickets remain valid for the new date or whether a refund window will be provided.
Ticket holders should follow the specific announcement for that event. A postponement does not automatically create a refund right unless GGL announces one or applicable law requires otherwise.
Outdoor or live events may be affected by weather, venue restrictions, public-safety requirements, technical issues, government directions, transportation conditions, or other operational circumstances.
Where the event continues with reasonable changes to timing, seating, program, performers, venue arrangements, or operations, tickets will normally remain subject to the original purchase terms unless GGL announces otherwise.
Each ticket may contain a unique booking number, QR code, verification code, or other identifier. Tickets may be checked at entry to confirm authenticity and whether the ticket has already been used.
Refunds are generally not provided for tickets that cannot be validated because they were duplicated, altered, copied, already used, obtained fraudulently, or purchased through an unauthorized source. If you believe a genuine ticket has been incorrectly rejected, contact support immediately so the transaction can be reviewed.
Tickets may be subject to name, identification, transfer, or resale restrictions stated for the particular event. GGL may refuse entry to tickets obtained through unauthorized resale, fraud, automated purchasing, manipulation, or other prohibited activity.
Customers should purchase tickets only through the official website or an officially authorized ticketing channel.
Approved refunds are normally initiated to the original payment method used for the eligible purchase. The time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account depends on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other financial institution.
GGL cannot guarantee the exact date on which a bank or payment provider will credit a refunded amount after the refund has been initiated.
To investigate a refund or payment issue, we may ask for information such as:
Never send your UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, password, OTP, or banking login credentials to our support team. These are not required to investigate a normal refund request.
If you believe a transaction is unauthorized or there is a genuine payment dispute, contact us promptly so that we can investigate and assist where possible.
A payment dispute raised with a bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment gateway may be subject to that provider's dispute and chargeback procedures. We may provide relevant transaction records to the provider when reasonably necessary to respond to a dispute.
Unless specifically announced otherwise, approved refunds are processed through the applicable original payment channel rather than by cash. This helps maintain a verifiable transaction record and reduces fraud risk.
GGL may update this Ticket & Refund Policy when event arrangements, payment processes, ticketing systems, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
The terms communicated specifically for a particular event or ticket may also contain additional conditions. Please review the event and checkout information before payment.
For ticket, payment, cancellation, or refund-related questions, contact the GGL support team with your order or payment details.
